Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions of Trading apply to all consumer contracts between Joanna London Print Decorated Ceramics (I/me/my) and the customer (you/your) in relation to all sales of goods and services.

Product and service specification

My product is a decorated piece of fine bone china which is handmade to order.

As a consequence of the hand applied decoration the design layout on the product may vary with small irregularities and occasional blemishes to be expected.

Colours are matched to product photographs, design images and colour proofs as accurately as possible but variations in colour may occur.

Product measurements (mm, mls, and kgs) are as accurate as possible but intended to be a guide to general size and weight only.

I take every care to ensure the accuracy of the product description but reserve the right to advise you of any differences or mistakes in the product description prior to dispatch of the product.

All designs are archived in digital format and may be accessed for future orders. When orders are made from archive material every effort will be made to match any existing items decorated with the design but some variation in colour may occur.

Joanna London Print Decorated Ceramics will not be liable for failure to access archived designs on subsequent product orders.

I reserve the right to change the ceramic onto which the decoration is applied and will not be liable for failure to match ceramic pieces on subsequent product orders.

Payment

Prices are those agreed at the time of the order.

Packaging and delivery costs are extra and added separately. Details of the packaging and delivery charges are listed in Delivery Information.

Payment is required in full for all orders from the joannalondon.com shop. Once funds are cleared to my account the product is made to the order specification.

Payment may be received as a cheque or for internet purchases processed through PayPal at the time of ordering. For more information on internet purchasing using Paypal please refer to www.paypal.co.uk

For internet sales I shall notify you of my acceptance of your order via email confirmation using the email address you have supplied during the ordering process.

I am entitled to refuse any order placed by you.

If I am unable to process or fulfil your order I will refund any prior payment that you have made for that item. I may keep records of orders received, acknowledgements and other contract records for a reasonable period.

Delivery

I will contact you to notify you of the delivery timescale when the product is ready for dispatch.

The delivery timescales stated are an estimate only.

I will notify you if there is an excessive delay in the dispatch of your goods.

Joanna London Print Decorated Ceramics will not be liable for anything other than the value of the goods themselves should there be a delay in the delivery of the goods.

I reserve the right to charge you for any extra costs arising from any changes you make to the delivery address after you submit an order.

If you are unable to take delivery of your order on the confirmed delivery day I will charge you with any costs arising from the storage of the goods and subsequent delivery arrangements.

If I accidentally damage your goods in the course of delivery then my liability for that damage is limited to the refund or replacement of the goods or the value thereof.

You are responsible for checking products upon delivery and verifying that they are in a satisfactory condition and that they are in accordance with their description and complete.

Defective or misdescribed goods

If the product fails to meet the description given in the contract of sale or is defective you should inform me as soon as possible upon receipt of delivery.

The defective item must be returned to me in its original packaging with all the relevant documentation. Once received and assessed as defective a refund for the carriage paid will be issued.

I will endeavour to replace any defective goods free of charge or otherwise issue a full refund.

Joanna London Print Decorated Ceramics will not be liable for anything other than the value of the defective goods themselves.

The applied design on the ceramic product is copyright of Joanna London Print Decorated Ceramics and unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

Website

I endeavour to display as accurately as possible the colours of my products that appear on the website. I cannot guarantee that your monitor will accurately reflect the colour of the product delivered. Some variation in colour may also occur through the production process as stated previously.

Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the website however as prices and details may change from time to time it is possible that an error may occur. I will use my best endeavours to rectify any errors as swiftly as possible but cannot be responsible for any losses incurred.

I cannot accept any liability for any particular material on the website or as a result of any use or reliance placed upon information contained on the website.

Any material downloaded or otherwise obtained through the use of this website is done at your own discretion and risk. You will be solely responsible for any damage to your own computer systems or loss of data that results from the download of such materials.

Data Protection

Joanna London Print Decorated Ceramics processes your personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
