As well as the tea tidies already available on the site I have been looking at decorating other small china items.

With Easter approaching eggs and egg cups are topical and I have also decorated some teaspoons and baubles.  I am still researching the whiteware available as I like to use the finest, whitest, shiniest china I can get my hands on but I am rather pleased with the Doodles design I have created for test firing these pieces.

I have also decorated a square mug and saucer with Doodles and put this into the Collective, here are the images of the smaller items, what do you think of the design, I like the blue and white classic combination for fine bone china but should I also make it multicoloured ?

Mothers day is quite late this year, into April - Sunday 3rd April to be precise, I don't suppose it will pass you by as the marketing seems to be in full swing with plenty of mothers day cards on display in the shops and supermarkets !

Of course I am going to flag up my products for Mothers Day as they are well suited; from a cute tea tidy for keeping teabags in order to fine bone china mugs for tea ( or coffee), gorgeous cappuccino cups for fans of frothy coffee and of course tea for one - an individual teapot with cup- a perfect gift.

I am a mum of three boys but tend to forget about that on mothers day thinking of my own mum and mother in law and chasing my husband to get his mum a card !   My mum already has her joanna london dinner service, cups and mugs in her own commissioned design and so this year we met up in London and went to see the wonderful musical Jersey boys at the Prince Edward Theatre, this was my mothers day gift to her and it was great as she remembered the era of the music and the story of Frankie Valli and it was too girly for my husband, there are some things that are just best to do with your mum and no one else !
