We are loving the print collection available at the V&A, images from the Victoria and Albert Museum Collection are available to order as a print or a canvas and if you are like me you will throughly enjoy some time spent browsing at www.vandaprints.com.
I have ordered a few for some picture frames I have had knocking around for ages, they are great frames and were irresistible buys but isn't it the case that you either find a fab frame or a great print but rarely both at the same time ! Anyway I am looking forward to the delivery and to my new wall of fab prints.
On my new wall of fab prints I am also arranging a few of my wall plates, these work really well as decorative wall pieces either presented with pictures within an overall 'collage on the wall' or in sets of two or three by themselves which look really elegant.
I also have to tell you about the V&A Pattern books I received for christmas, in sets of four I have two sets now and one set on my wish list. The pattern books theme a particular surface designer or period and include images of patterns in the books as well as a cd, great if like me you love pattern and colour, they offer the pleasure of the 'reveal' and also inspiration for my own designs.
With the rush of Christmas some time behind us and everything in order for the new year, which is unfolding rapidly through January, I am working on some new ideas for the collective and should have these ready for the website in February.
